Frisco Convention and Visitors Bureau Honored with
ConventionSouth’s Prestigious Annual Readers’ Choice Award

(Frisco, Texas) November 19, 2012 ~ The December issue of ConventionSouth Magazine will recognize The Frisco Convention and Visitors Bureau for the first time ever with a 2012 Readers’ Choice Award.

Throughout the year, meeting professionals nominated the meeting sites they believe provide exemplary service for group events. The nominated properties were then compiled onto an online ballot where meeting professionals were asked to vote for the best of the best. More than 1,500 voters participated this year in the selection process. Winners get a shiny badge they can display on their website and bragging rights. The award celebrates what planners demand:  the highest level of customer service and quality facilities.

There were also six hotel properties in Frisco who received the award for the first time:
Embassy Suites Dallas – Frisco Hotel, Convention Center & Spa
    Homewood Suites by Hilton Dallas/Frisco
    Hilton Garden Inn Frisco
    Comfort Suites at Frisco Square
    Aloft Frisco
Holiday Inn Express (formerly Holiday Inn Frisco on Parkwood)
FCVB Executive Director, Marla Roe, raves, “Our staff works hard to make sure that we provide the highest level of service. To have this validated by our clients is the ultimate award.”

ConventionSouth is a leading national multimedia resource for planning events in the South.
